It is a very traditional full-bodied and full-flavoured amber-coloured beer with malt-stressed round taste. It is of clear and shiny appearance with a fine white crown of perfect foam. Proudly Bavarian for over 700 years since 1308. Brewed traditionally using only the finest barley malt, hops and pure water. Store in a cool dark place. Enjoy at 7C.

    Comments: www.brasseriethiriez.com Bottle-conditioned. David Thiriez painstakingly crafts his rustic farmhouse ales in his brewery in the beautiful countryside of French Flanders. This brisk Amber Ale is a really luminous golden-red. It is perfectly balanced, with a soft, fresh hop bitterness playing off a hearty whole-grain maltiness, and accentuated by an entrancing nose of earth and spice that is typical of French farmhouse brewing. The first Christmas beer produced by Thiriez since 1997. Fewer hops than the Blonde; lightly toasted malts for color, and a hint of spice.
