    Preference: 2 (1=0 2=1 3=0 4=0 5=0)
Comments: www.brouwerijanders.be, beer52.com, www.partizanbrewing.co.uk Ingredients: water, hops, barley malt, wheat, sea salt, kombu, fennel, coriander, yeast. Fennel Gose. Brewed for Beer52's 4th Anniversary Collaboration Voyage Series, in collaboration with Partizan Brewing and Brouwerij Anders! Inspired by the seashore of the Isle of Eriska. This beer was inspired by an afternoon spent by the water's edge on Eriska. From the moment of arrival, the shore had a magnetic draw and on a foraging trip, sampling some of the sea kelp often harvested by the chef, I was reminded of an idea floated by one of my colleagues a short time ago for a combination of seaweed and fennel in a beer. Since both were found in close proximity on this island the concept seemed to further insinuate itself and I chose the classically salted Saxon style Gose as the best vehicle to showcase these flavours.

Pour carefully may contain sediment. This beer is vegan. Our take on a traditional German style Gose. Flavoured with Gooseberry, Sea buckthorn and sea salt, this beer is tart, lightly sour and fruity. Refreshing with a defined saltiness and makes an excellent accompaniment to food. A great introduction to sour beer. Huddersfield-based but internationally acclaimed Magic Rock Brewing has once again showed us why they're so respected with their Salty Kiss Gooseberry Gose. Pleasant aromas of a funky citrus, biscuity malts, sweet berries and candied lemons are evident on the nose of this golden-hued drink. Identical flavours are contrasted by an interesting sour brininess that is typical of the gose style because salt is added during the brewing process. This 4.1% ABV beer is exceptionally refreshing whilst its unique flavour could have this one become your go-to beer in your fridge. Enjoy at 6-8C.
