Store cool and upright. Introducing the newest addition to our meticulous lineup of core range offerings, LUPULOID IPA, a 6.7% ABV India Pale Ale. The most notable thing is that it is our first straight up IPA, no funny business, just malt, yeast, water and hops. Lots of hops. I guess it only took us four years! Lupuloid is our no compromises IPA. It’s born out of an obsession for more hop flavour we created this hop monster. We reinforced the body of the beer with oats and wheat, before adding lots of heavy-duty hops, Ekuanot for? mango and?papaya, Mosaic for citrus and pine and zingy Citra for a massive hop hit that keeps you coming back for more. First came the collaborations. We learned so much valuable information, and are eternally grateful to everybody who came to visit/opened their doors to us. These helped create fantastic brews in order to solidify in our minds exactly WHAT we wanted our IPA to be. Then we turned it over to you, and introduced ‘The Invasion Of The Lupuloids’, as a series of waves of beers accompanied by a list of every technical detail you could want and more, by way of something similar to Top Trumps cards, every thing from yeast strains, through original/final gravity, to total hop oils per 100g listed. We felt this gave people ample info to make an informed decision, and then we listened. As feedback came in we tweaked recipes and plotted new brews, releasing another wave with the same info available, and then repeated the process. The end result was 10 IPAs, that were tweaked and adapted with the feedback we received until we were able to bring you the LUPULOID.

Comments: www.fullers.co.uk Bottle-conditioned. Contains barley malt. India Pale Ale is an historic style of English beer that traditionally was always strong and well-hopped. It was first brewed in the 19th Century to refresh the troops in India during the time of the British Empire - perhaps the most famous of these troops being the Bengal Lancers; cavalry regiments whose dashing exploits have passed into folklore. Our brew uses traditional English malt and Goldings hops to evoke memories of this pale amber, distinctively hoppy and superbly refreshing brew. Bottle conditioning, where a small amount of yeast is allowed to ferment gently in the bottle, gives this beer the fresh, natural flavour of real ale.

Comments: www.lefthandbrewing.com Ingredients: Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, malted wheat, hops and yeast. Okay, this one isn’t for everybody – yet. Over the years we’ve been asked to brew a year-round IPA, but have balked at the idea because of the flood of American IPAs currently on the market. If we couldn’t make an IPA that was different what was available, that we personally liked to drink, and one that we could put our personal signature on and be proud of, we didn’t want to do it. So, last fall we brewed a single batch IPA on our new brewhouse and sent it out to 5 different markets around the country to test the response. Which turned out to be pretty positive. So, here we are in 2009, and we’re back playing again with a few new test batches that we’re sampling here in Colorado and a few select markets around the country. What’s in a name, you ask? Well, back in February of 2007, there was an article in there titled ‘Extremely Boring’. Go back and find that issue, and that specific article, and you’ll see why we named the beer 400 Pound Monkey. Happy sleuthing!

Brewed with Burton mineral water to bring out the full flavour of the hops. About this beer... This India Pale Ale is brewed in Burton-on-Trent, the home of British brewing and designed with the original type of IPA in mind. A carefully selected blend of hops give this ale bitterness but with lovely citrus notes. The natural partner for spicy food.e St Austell Brewery was founded in 1851 by Walter Hicks, who mortgaged his farm for £1,500 to set up his business in St Austell. In 2001, the family owned brewery celebrated their 150th Anniversary. The idiosyncratic mineral content of Burton-on-Trent's water brings out the flavour of hops during the brewing process. This natural preservative made the beer ideal to be shipped on the long journey to colonial India. Brewed exclusively for Marks and Spencer.

This is a fresh product and should be experienced as such. Keep it cool, and enjoy responsibly. IBU 45. EBC 11. Our flagship Faith is a tribute to our beloved hops, in particular the unique US variety Citra. No other hop comes close to the intense mango and orange citrus bites that Citra delivers, which we back up with a touch of Mosaic for its deeper tropical berry notes, and Columbus, which delivers just a touch of dank pine and black pepper, adding another dimension to this flavoursome but easy-drinking New England style Pale. Ey up, we’re Northern Monk. A few years ago we set out to brew some of the best beer in the world from a damp cellar in the North. We didn’t have much, but with the support of friends, family and a £5,000 gift from a grandparent, we’ve come a long way. A lasting commitment to creating the best beer experiences we can, whilst working with the community around us, continues to drive us forward.

The name of the beer probably originates from England and the time when the workers probably actually got to drink during their ‘sessions’. In order for things not to go completely out of control, a lighter beer of between three and four percent was required. Our interpretation is somewhat stronger and fits perfectly after but not at work. Brewmaster Daniel's comment: A challenge when working with low-alcohol beers is to get a body and mouthfeel. There is always a risk that the beer may feel watery. Here I have used five different malt varieties, three hop varieties and finally, to honor the beer's origin, a classic ale yeast from England. Fits well with: Hamburger, Fillet of Pork, Sponge Toast. Serve at 8-10C.

Comments: www.trumansbeer.co.uk We don’t often get asked to brew a beer to celebrate the launch of a book – but when we did we were delighted to give it a go. Danny Wallace – the comedian, writer and actor – is releasing a new novel this spring and Truman’s was tasked with brewing a beer to complement it. The short story is that the best match for Who is Tom Ditto? is a ‘transatlantic IPA’. We’ve used both American and UK hops in the brew – with Challenger representing the UK and Centennial representing the US. We’ve also added in a really exciting experimental hop (also from the US) which doesn’t yet have a proper name, so we’ve dubbed it 'Wallex'. The beer will be a full-throttle American-style IPA with a touch of UK elegance. Think loads of citrus flavours, a chunky amount of bitterness and a heady aroma of funky hops. Tom Ditto IPA will be available in Nicholson’s and Ember Inns pubs up and down the country from Monday 24th March as part of their Spring Beer Festival.
