Enjoy Gaffel Kölsch, a full-bodied, unique Kölsch with a fresh fine hop taste from the Gaffel family brewery. The laws protecting the brewing of Kölsch are as strict as the German Purity Law of 1516. Kölsch beer can only be brewed within the city of Cologne. As the best-known Kölsch brewery, Gaffel’s flavour is derived from an ale yeast that is lagered (or aged) in cold cellars. Gaffel is pale, faintly fruity with a crisp, hop finish. Enjoy as an aperitif or digestif.

    Type: Kölsch Ale
    Strength: 4.8%
Brewer: Mont Hardi (with The White Hag)

Comments: www.monthardi.fr Ingredients: water, barley, wheat, hops, yeast. Brewed for Hagstravaganza. Keltoi is the origin of the ethnic group who came to be the Celts, the Celtic culture spanning Ireland, Great Britain and parts of Gaul. This is a true collaboration - a germanic beer, made by Irish and French brewers. Cheers! A pleasantly well balanced beer with a surprisingly nuanced complexity. A delicate bouquet of floral honey is supported by the typical grainy malt and doughy wheat characters, all the while underscored by a hint of white seed fruits. A medium carbonation helps to round out the mouthfeel along with a subtle bitterness and a nice dry finish. Enjoy at 4-8C.
