Available: 30 litre kegs and 330ml bottles. The story: Inspired by outrageously hop-heavy American craft brews, we wanted to brew one of our own, only at a lower, massively-drinkable ABV. It’s our UK spin on an American classic. The taste: Punchy American hops throw out a big aroma of grapefruit, orange and tropical fruit. It’s a bright orange-gold colour. The body is subtle and clean and a golden platter for carrying the hops. The bitterness rolls in and then ends dry, making you thirsty for another gulp.

You need something to cleance your tastebuds from the taste of the cheap slave tequila. You need something to recover you safely and give you a renewed love and zest for life. In simple terms, you need a really good recovery beer (in Danish 'Reparationsbajer'). The problem is that there are few perfect recovery beers! Nauseous mass produced lagers are the last thing you want to think about after you have been making a few calls in the great white telephone. This is why To Øl for a long time has had the goal to develop a recipe for the perfect recovery beer. This has resulted in a lot of tough empirical field work combined with a great amount of brewing. After a years of hard work all results have been gathered and the conclusion is clear: The best way to remove your hang overs is with a potent Pale Ale with powerful and aromatic American and New Zealand hops to give your tastebuds a cold turkey combined with a nice round, pleasant and well-balanced malt profile to massage the palate and reinforce the belief that one shall survive another day! And that’s why we present for you To Øl Reparationsbajer.

Sadly the fruits of this success wasn't shared shared quite so equally as it was only Colonel P who was recognised in the business being made a member of the board. Archie was left to become the unsung hero and this brew has been created to honour his part in Newcastle Brown Ale's history and to celebrate our 85th birthday! Here's to the underdog!

Comments: www.littlecreatures.com.au We love our Pale Ale. Many of us from the brewery have made pilgrimages around the world in search of great varieties of this wonderful style. Surprisingly, there are no great secrets to brewing this type of ale but there are most definitely no great shortcuts. Bag loads of Cascade and Galaxy whole hop flowers that we source direct from hop growers in Victoria, Tassie and the US are thrown at this beer, creating an intense citrus and grapefruit aroma and flavour that we balance with a careful selection of specialty malts and a local pale malt made to our own specifications. Preservative and additive free our Pale Ale is live-yeast conditioned in bottles and kegs for unmatched freshness and character. From brewing to release, a batch of pale ale takes about six weeks, allowing for two weeks conditioning in the bottle after packaging. No artificial additives are included, just great ingredients. Pour it into a glass to enjoy it at its best! The beer’s character is driven by the use of fresh whole hop flowers. Hop Flowers are carefuly selected that are bursting with aroma and contain all the essential oils and acids that deliver an uniqe flavour experience. Drink a few pints of this beer and you’ll soon become one of us…a certified 'hophead' craving those crisp citrus flavours of grapefruit and passionfruit and maybe a bit of honey, all backed up with a good balance of bitterness. If you’re wondering what on earth malt or hops actually are then click on the two hop characters to the left and find out more. It’s not just the hops that make Little Creatures Pale Ale what it is though. Selected malts are kilned in small batches to our specifications and are used exlusively in our pale ale. Two different yeasts are used to both ferment and bottle condition the beer. The latest technology and equipment is used to maintain absolute quality control and one of the main ingredients in the pale ale has got to be the amount of passion that it takes to produce a seriously good beer...we live for it! Comments: www.skinnersbrewery.com Hand crafted. In collaboration with River Cottage, Skinner's Brewery has created this delicious English Pale Ale made with the finest ingredients from the West Country. Hops (Northdown, Admiral, Cascade): Mark Andrews, Townend Fam, Hereford. Barley: Matthew & Paul Dale, Restronguet Barton Farm, Cornwall. Brewers: Mark, Mark, Mike & Mike (honest!) at Skinner's, Truro, Cornwall. Our collaboration with River Cottage has encouraged us to rediscover the finest ingredients, grown in our back garden. We are really proud to have created a perfectly balanced beer that goes down brilliantly with a well-sourced meal or on its own as a refreshing pint. [Steve Skinner, Head Taster, Skinner's Brewery, Cornwall] By sourcing the best English hops - including the exceptional Cascade, recently produced for the first time by UK growers - and combining them with the finest Cornish malted barley, we've made a beer that's high in complex aromatics, with floral, cedar and citrus notes, and a long bittersweet finish. I hope you'll love it as much as we do. [Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, River Cottage]

Comments: www.whiterabbitbeer.com.au/The-Brewery While regular visitors to the brewery in Healesville and the Little Creatures Dining Hall in Fitzroy will be aware that there is a steady stream of often experimental tiny batch beers coming out of White Rabbit, it has been a while – three years in fact – since they added a beer to their core range of Dark and White. Among those tiny batches has been a number of beers that have loosely played around with the Belgian pale ale style and thus it is that the third White Rabbit year-round beer is this 'Belgian style' Pale Ale. Described as a meeting of old school and new, it’s a beer that pours a brilliant copper in the glass with subtle herbal aromas that are joined by a touch of fruitiness once it warms. There’s some caramel sweetness to taste, with the Belgian influence adding much in the way of spiciness and helping create a distinctly dry finish.
