As it is made from hops foraged from hedgerows, open spaces, gardens and allotments, every batch of Wild Hop is unique. Each year, it’s brewed with Amber, Brown and Pale Ale malts and a wide variety of wonderfully wild hops donated by our eagle-eyed hop pickers and home growers. Contributions to this brew were delivered to us in September 2020 and have added grassy and herbal notes, alongside subtle pine flavours. It captures all the excitement of this year’s hop harvest. Thanks a bunch to all the growers and gatherers.

Comments: www.thewhitehag.com Ingredients: water, barley (Ale Malt, Carared, Melanoidin, Roasted barley), wheat (Pale Wheat), hops (Mittelfruh), yeast. Our export stout is named after the Great Deer (translating to ‘Fladh Mór’), a giant elk that roamed Ireland and Europe. This export Red Ale was brewed to a higher strength to withstand the journeys abroad. Pouring a deep, dark amber with a fluffy white head, a nutty raisin aroma will give way to a slightly bitter and roasty ale with notes of caramel, nuts and raisins, and a dry finish. A stronger bigger brother to the Session Red Ale. This is a malty little monster with notes of raisins and dark fruits coming from the Melanoidin malt and slightly spicy and floral from the Mittelfruh hops. Enjoy at 9C.
