Comments: www.duvel.be 666, a hell of a combination. Contains barley malt and wheat malt. IBU 20. Let yourself be swept away by the dance of the hop devils. Inspired by the fruity aromas of the hops, and a zest of orange. Its bottle has a label with red Duvel name on a yellow background, instead of the traditional red on a white background. Brewed for the 150th anniversary of the brewery with 6 hops. The sunny, warm yellow design of the bottles already suggests it. This Duvel is mild, expressive and deliciously drinkable. No fewer than 6 different hop varieties are used for Duvel 6,66%: just like the classic Duvel, it’s based on the noble and exclusive hop varieties Saaz and Styrian Golding. The flavour is then balanced by adding four expertly selected hop varieties to the mix, which also involves the dry-hopping technique.

    Brewer: Palm
    Country: Belgium
Description: Colour=Orange yellow, Malty=Yes, Hoppy=No, Effervesce=Yes, Other=Slightly fruit and sweet taste with a smooth finish
    Preference: 3 (1=0 2=0 3=1 4=0 5=0)
Comments: www.palm.be Unique amber coloured malts determine the basic flavour of PALM Royale: mild caramel flavours with a honey-like mellowness. The malting process adheres to PALM's specific instructions which are aimed at a natural brown colouring that delivers its specific flavour. The aroma is determined to a significant extent by yeast. Through intensive selection the Van Roy family has amassed a lavish collection of the various yeast strains, each of which gives the beer its own fruity character. PALM Royale is fermented with a symbiosis of three different yeast strains which provide an extreme banana fruitiness. This ale-type beer was created in 2003 in honour of the 90th birthday of PALM brewer Alfred Van Roy and given the name PALM Royale (Roy-ale). His enthusiasm for the pronounced fermentation fruitiness of his personally selected Palm yeasts finds its most emphatic expression in PALM Royale, a truly delightful brew. Its appearance is copper-coloured, with a rich, white head adhering to the glass. The aroma is reminiscent of banana; the flavour has bite with a great deal of body. With mild sweetness due to the alcohol, the beer is nevertheless somewhat bitter and fruity.
