Abstract

ODS Style templates can be used to control the basic appearance of the output, and, typically, PROC REPORT is used to build the tables that use these styles. ODS Table templates take this standardising to a new level, where the data just has to be prepared in a particular structure, and the template used in a Data Null step to generate the standardised table. These templates are already available for use in SAS 9.1.3, so do we really need to continue using PROC REPORT?
