Looking for a SAS job or wanting to promote your SAS recruitment agency?

I’ve recently opened up new opportunities for two groups of registered members:

  • Recruiters wanting to promote their agencies.
  • SAS programmers looking for their next SAS job.

All of the forums in [Holland Numerics: Blog and Forums] now allow messages to be sent by registered members directly and privately to anyone posting a topic in a forum. This means that, if you post a new topic in the SAS Skills Discussion Forum (which is accessible to all registered members) describing your recruitment agency, or your own SAS programming skills, other registered members will be able to send you messages. The facility also removes the necessity to reveal your phone number or email address to anyone you don’t need to, as the messages will be collected on the blog site, and you will be notified by email of new messages there, and any forum topic will display a list of your own messages at the bottom of the web page.

However, please think carefully about what you include in your topic, as your agency profile, or your SAS job prospects, could be positively or negatively affected by what you write!

Note that there may also be a delay in the topic appearing if you are writing your first topic in the forum, as I will have to approve it. This is intended to protect you from spam postings. But as soon as it is visible to all registered members, then a [Send a Message] link will be seen in the topic under your name.

SAS Jobs Listing Introduction

The SAS Jobs Listing is intended for posting SAS-related jobs. This feature is normally paid-for when posting jobs, but free to view.

Here are the basic rules for posting in this forum:

  • This feature is on an English-language site. Foreign language posts are accepted, but only if the content is understandable as related to SAS by the majority of the site members. Please include an English translation, if necessary.
  • No copying of existing postings just to get your name on it. Please check you have posted correctly, and tidy up yourself if you haven’t!

To help the recruiters describe the SAS jobs there are a number of job categories available, and more than one category can be selected at a time too:

  • Business analyst
  • Full-time
  • Office-based
  • Part-time
  • Pharms data manager
  • Remote working
  • SAS administrator
  • SAS BI/DI developer
  • SAS database marketing analyst
  • SAS programmer
  • SAS Visual Analytics
  • Statistician

There are also 2 job types to choose from:

  • Contractor
  • Contract-to-hire
  • Permanent

These job categories and types are available for job seekers too, to help them search for relevant positions to apply for.  There are also geographical search facilities, where the job listings can be narrowed done to those within a maximum distance from a specific location. Therefore beware: “Cambridge” is not a good choice for a location in the UK, so use “Cambridge, UK” instead, as the assumption will be “Cambridge, MA”!

If there is a feature that is not currently available for recruiters or job seekers, then please use the Contact Us link to tell us about what would be nice to include here.

Are you a recruiter? Would you like to advertise your SAS jobs on the site? Please contact me now at phil@hollandnumerics.org.uk or via the Contact Us link, as I have some unending free trials available!!
